For students looking for help outside of the class period, I am available at the following times: before school, hour 5AB, and after school. Because I sometimes have meetings to attend or other responsibilities, I encourage any student who would like to meet with me outside of class to let me know ahead of time.
For parents and others outside the school building, the best way to get in touch with me is email (at firstname.lastname@example.org), because I can more easily find time and a computer with which to read and respond to a message in a confidential manner. If I do not respond to an email within one business day, however, please do not hesitate to leave a message on my voicemail, 262-946-2092.
This is my 17th year teaching at Menomonee Falls High School. I currently teach Regular Chemistry I and Honors Chemistry I. In the past I have taught AP Chemistry, Honors Biology, and Bio-Organic Chemistry.
I graduated from Albion College in 1998 with a BA in Chemistry and began a PhD program in Organic Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I quickly realized that the research laboratory was not where I wanted to be and I left UW-Madison in the spring of 1999 with a MS degree. While I pursued postbaccalaureate certification at Cardinal Stritch University, I worked as a paraprofessional in the Learning Disabilities Resource Room at Shorewood High School.
I am the Chemical Hygiene Officer for grades 6-12 science. I am also a member of the district safety committee.
